Service termination

There is a German proverb: Everything has an end, just sausages have two.
Your Freedom has been in business since 2005. Back then, it was a pioneer in the market, and actually it was not started for commercial but for goodwill reasons. After 19 years of service, it will shut down on December 31st, 2024. While we still believe that anti-censorship solutions are needed, there are many such offers in the market now. Your Freedom has become old and rusty, and with the user figures going down significantly, it has also become economically unfeasible.
It has been an incredible journey for us, and we believe we have made a big difference in many people's lives. Can you believe that at one point we were responsible for one third of Myanmar's international Internet traffic? That our Android app was installed through Google Play by over 10 million people, and roughly as many via side loading from our web page? Thank you to all of you for being our guests, or rather our companions, on this fantastic ride!
We wish you all the best for the future. May we all see a world in which everyone has uncensored access to information and services all over the planet! And may we all learn to make responsible use of it.
